In Arthurian legend, Broceliande is a world full of danger, populated by dragons, fairies and giants. This threatening and evil place is however synonymous with adventure, since it is by crossing it that the knight would show his valor and get to hitherto unknown lands. Impenetrable and dark, the forest is the empire of the forces of evil, but it is precisely this terrifying side that makes it so attractive to characters who find it the perfect place for every kind of challenge: at a turn in a path, in a riverbed or a clearing. Its nooks and crannies and shady areas make it the perfect setting for fantastic and marvellous stories.
