This caricature based on a an image by Carjat dates to the time of the lawsuit between Félix and Adrien Tournachon for the exclusive use of the Nadar pseudonym. To avoid confusion with his brother's Nadar the Younger signature, Félix proclaimed that the only address was Rue Saint Lazare... or Rue Saint Nadar, as the hansom-cabdrivers who drove his many clients there liked to joke.
