This caricature was published shortly after Félix Nadar set up for business in the spectacular studio at 35 Boulevard des Capucines. Beneath the slogan, which could be translated as "The sun shines on everyone," he is attracting an enthusiastic crowd. The sun is a acting as a metaphor for photography, which has become affordable for everyone.
