Maryse Bastié (1898-1952), one of the first female pilots in France, held an impressive number of records. Between their early experimenting with aerial photography and their passion for fight, Félix and Paul Nadar enjoyed exceptional access to the world of aviation. Accordingly, their studio took many pilots' portraits all the way through to the 1930s.
