After 1920, he systematically records monuments, chateaux and churches, beginning at this time a new series that he calls L’art dans les environs : Seine, Seine-et-Oise, Seine-et-Marne (Art in the Outskirts: Seine, Seine-et-Oise, Seine-et-Marne). He explores the Château of Sceaux, that of Cardinal Duprat in Nantouillet, and the nostalgic Château of Antony.
