In 1924, Paul Nadar was forced for financial reasons to move his business into the painter Bonnat's studio. The décor was less lavish than in their previous studios, but it still contained elements bearing witness to the former prestige of the House of Nadar. During that period, Paul Nadar, following in his uncle and father's footsteps began doing painting as well as photography.
